Easy Street repaid her Owners patience when she ran on strongly to win her maiden over 1200m, in only her second attempt. Her first run, a few weeks ago saw her run green but produce a good late effort to finish 2nd. Plagued by allergies, the 3 year old filly eventually got over her issues after painstaking work from the LGRS team and started to produce the work of which she is capable. Owners Brett Parker and Nick Englezakis were rewarded for their patience and look to have a nice filly on their hands, especially since the daughter of Summerhill’s Brave Tin Soldier appears to want a bit further than 1200m. Stable stalwart Deon Sampson has worked with the filly at home for a long time and produced the goods with a confident ride.
