31st October 2015 : DOING IT FOR DAN wins the Golden Loom Handicap at Turffontein, following up on the win in the same race for us last year by Trip Tease. As emotional as it was for us last year, it was the same again this time as we did it for Anthony Maroun, brother of the late Buddy Maroun and also for Anthony’s son Kaden. Anthony Delpech rode Dan to perfection, content to sit several lengths of the pace and then produce a pounding finish to win going away. Doing it for Dan was bred by Highlands Stud whose produce always do so very well and especially for us in terms of percentages. Our thanks to the Maroun family for their valuable support and congrats to our super team at home.
