2015-10-27 Striker Strydom returned from his honeymoon on Tuesday and was bang on target as he urged SONG FROM SEATTLE to hold on for the win in the 3rd race at The Vaal. After having ridden the horse only once previously in a 1000m race, Piere convinced us to run him over 1400m and as usual his judgement was spot on. Song From Seattle had a poor draw to overcome and by all indications he has another one or two in the tank. He is owned by Sarel Janse van Rensburg of Bronkhorstspruit. We thank him for his steadfast support over the years.
